LONDON, Dec. 18 -- The Government of UK issued details related to the following business opportunity:

Contracting Authority: North York Moors National Park Authority

Industry: Agricultural, forestry, horticultural, aquacultural and apicultural services

Description: This contract will be for the following works: Cpt 1a & 1b: fell larch, thin Scots pine (55 years old) Cpt 2: clear fell larch (55 years old, though looks much younger). The North York Moors National Park Authority are facilitating the contract, which will be with the owners of High Cow Helm (1a & 2) & High Ellermire (1b), so I'd like to know a total cost for the harvesting work and what price you'll offer for the timber. The Authority can use grant funding to ensure the scheme is economically viable for both contractor and owner if the harvesting costs exceed the timber value, as seems likely.

Closing date: 2026-01-12T17:00:00Z

Contract duration: 2026-03-02T00:00:00Z to 2026-09-30T00:00:00+01:00

Value of contract: GBP5000 to GBP8000

Location of contract: Yorkshire and The Humber
