Description: Voluntary Transparency Notice for Advance Mission Planning Aid (AMPA) This is a Voluntary Transparency Notice to place a Single Source Contract for Advance Mission Planning Aids (AMPA). The Command and Control, 2 Targeting Navigations and Communications Team (C2TNC DT), part of the Ministry of Defence ("the Authority"), intends to place a two-year contract extension with Enterprise Services Defence and Security UK Limited (DXC Technology) for the Advanced Mission Planning Aid (AMPA) ("the Contract"). The AMPA In-Service Support (ISS) contract provides Design Organisation support and Post Design Services for the two variants which because of their commonality realises an economy of scale benefit. Due to mission data generated by AMPA being referenced when airborne, the system is deemed to impact air safety and the supplier, Enterprise Services Defence and Security UK Limited (DXC Technology), is required to be accredited by the Military Aviation Authority (MAA) as a Design Organisation (DO). Enterprise Services Defence and security UK Limited (DXC Technology) are the only company that design/ modify mission planning systems. Enterprise Services Defence and Security UK Limited are responsible for the in-service support and post design enhancement of the mission planning system. The Authority has determined that this Single Source contract is excluded from Defence and Security Public Contract under Regulations 6(3A) (b) and 7(1) (a) of the DSPR 2011.
