LONDON, July 11 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:
Two new Independent Non-Executive Board Members have been appointed toBritishWool's board (formerly theBritishWoolMarketing Board) in conjunction with the Devolved Governments.
David Williams has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Board member for a term of three years, from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028.
Susan Millin has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive board member for a term of three years, from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2028.
All appointments have been made in accordance with the Governance Code on Public Appointments published by the Cabinet Office. All appointments are made on merit and political activity plays no part in the selection process.
BritishWoolis a public body that works on behalf of thewoolindustry to collect, grade, monitor, market and sellBritishwoolto the internationalwooltextile industry for use in flooring, furnishings and apparel. The role of the board members is to contribute to the leadership, scrutiny, and direction of theBritishWoolBoard.
