U.K., Nov. 3 -- UK Parliament issued the following news:
Responding to the launch of a study into the levels of PFAS chemicals in the UK population, the Chair of the Environmental Audit Committee, Toby Perkins MP, said:
"I'm pleased to see today's announcement. Earlier this year, my Committee recommended the government invest in long-term research on the health impacts of PFAS chemicals, and this is an important first step.
However, exposure to PFAS can leave many people worried. It is vital that these efforts improve the information available to the public without causing disproportionate panic and concern."
