LONDON, Jan. 19 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:

Ms Zoe Ware MVO has been appointed His Majesty's Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo in succession to Ms Alyson King OBE. Ms Ware will take up her appointment during May 2026.
