LONDON, Nov. 27 -- The government of the United Kingdom issued the following news:

The Parole Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Hamilton OBE, as its new Non-Executive Director of the Management Committee, effective from 4 December2025. The term will run for three years until 3 December 2028.

Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in policing and public-sector leadership, most recently serving as Deputy Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI). During his time at PSNI, he held executive responsibility for ethics, organisational performance, intelligence, and strategic risk, and played a central role in some of the most sensitive and high-profile operational decisions.

His experience, leadership and commitment to public service will be a valuable addition to the Management Committee as the Board continues its work to protect the public and support effective, risk-based decision-making.

Non-Executive Committee Member appointments are made by the Parole Board with the approval of the Secretary of State.
